Electrovacuum pentode - GK-71 is used for the generation and necessary amplification of electromagnetic, high-frequency oscillations in various radio engineering devices for industrial purposes (transceiver equipment, instrumentation) or household purposes (transceivers, amateur radio transmitters).
The radio tube has a glass design (bulb with a contact base) and is cooled by natural air currents and is operated in a vertical position.
