Vintage 1970's Canonet QL17 G-III Rangefinder Camera
Sharp 45mm f/1.7 Six Element Lens

Cosmetically clean and without nasty dents
Shutter fully operation on all speeds
Clear bright viewfinder with good patch contrast
Meter fully operational

Optics have some minor internal marks & dust.
The lens once had fungus but has been removed & treated.
It has left some residual marks (last photo), but my belief is that this will not effect the lens performance.

The Canon Canonet G-III QL17 is a coupled-rangefinderleaf-shutteredfixed-focal-length 35 mm camera first manufactured by Canon in 1972. It features full shutter-priority automatic exposure and full manual shooting modes.

The Canonet G-III is the third generation of Canonet, following the original Canonet and the New Canonet.

The G-III features a 40 mm f/1.7 with six elements in four groups. The integrated lightmeter provides shutter priority and manual modes. The sensor is located on the forward part of the lens, which allows use of filters without manual compensation of exposure.

All in all a solid camera that has not been abused or thrashed
