USS Reno a 541' anti-aircraft light cruiser was commissioned in Dec 1943. See her web pages for the details of her design, construction and service history. She fought in the Pacific Theater and was torpedoed by enemy submarine I-41 on 3 Nov 1944. She was towed back 1,500 miles, while leaking, to Ulithi Atoll and repaired. She then returned to SC to be fully repaired, and was active in the Atlantic fleet post-war, including Magic-Carpet transport service.

The seller also has photo cachet covers for many USN surface warfare ships and a cover for the ship's memorial on San Diego's waterfront.
