Brake pads:

Despite the relatively hard brake pad material, our Redstuff pad achieves a very high coefficient of friction (0.5) and thus ensures more braking power and faster deceleration in faster and heavier vehicles (>=220 HP) without putting excessive strain on the brake disc.

Excellent braking performance is achieved even when the brakes are cold, but this naturally improves (progressively) as the temperature of the brake pads increases.

As with Allen hard materials, the 'grinding procedure' is extended to approx. 1500km.

The EBC Redstuff brake pad has a very low amount of brake dust and should be used on both axles to achieve optimal brake balance. Like all EBC brake pads in the automotive sector, all EBC Redstuff sports brake pads are provided with a brake coating, broken edges, a heat groove and a powder coating.

Brake discs:

The slots in these brake discs are milled to the outer edge.

This ensures that the resulting brake gases, abrasion, dirt and water can be almost completely removed from the friction surface of the brake discs.

Furthermore, 'cooler' air is supplied through the slots in order to optimally counteract overheating of the brake pads and brake discs.

The additional grooves on the treads further support this property considerably.

Due to the slotting, the brake pads are worn evenly and in parallel over their entire service life.
