This finely crafted late 1800's-early 1900's tumbler-form vessel i heavily crafted of copper alloy with silvered finish and black background in the manner of niello.Measuring 4 1/8" tall x 2 7/8" diameter (top) x 1 7/8" (base), it is extenisvelu hand chased and engraved with foliate and floral designs framing Large medallions emblazoned with Kufic Characters.  There is some loss to the black background and some old polishe residue.  There is wear to the foot and tarnish inside.
