A totally original unmolested 1977 “Top Gun” Porsche Design Orfina 7176S

The watch is running absolutely fine with everything working as it should be although that being said, the new owner would maybe want to get a service as I noticed the rubber seal on the screw back plate is perished.

Serial number is on the back starting 42*** which dates it to approximately 1977

The PVD coating is in Excellent original condition on the case with the strap showing very slight signs of wear over the past 47 years.

The original mineral crystal is hazy and does have a chip in it on the edge at the 4 o’clock position and a small horizontal scratch just below the 9 o’clock position so that would need to be looked at if you wanted perfection.

The watch wears extremely well and at the moment the strap is set for an 8” wrist size.

The 5100 movement is in amazing condition to, and again it’s totally original.

This watch has been tucked away for many years which is probably why it’s in the condition it’s in.

The Tachymetre is very slightly off at the 12 o’clock position, possibly un-noticed during a past service maybe but I cannot confirm this.

3 position crown does everything fine, winding and day/date adjustments.

The lume, although there is not effective anymore.

So a very honest, unmolested example of a nice “Top Gun” in a very nice original condition.
