This is unsized, but is generously large due to the swing style. I wear size 22 or 3XL tops, and it fits me snugly and is a flattering length. Please see photo measurements with rulers. The arm straps are a nice touch to aid in keeping it from falling off your shoulders.
The fur is in very good vintage condition with minimal signs of wear, including minor dents in the fur, mostly around the arm openings and edges of pockets. There are a couple of areas where the lining is pulled around the arm straps and on one side where the front fur panel joins the side panel (an easy DIY fix). The Monett tag is unsewn on the left edge, still attached on the right. There is a small stain on the lining, otherwise minor discoloration which leads me to believe this was well cared for and not used often. No smells of perfume or other odors through my chronic sinusitis nose.
The length and hook & loop closure make it easy to wear and pair with any outfit.
The generous fit and lined, collared design, along with pockets and water-resistant features, make it practical for colder seasons like winter, fall, and spring. Ensure its longevity with dry clean only care. This overcoat is a true gem made in the United States by Monett Furriers who had locations in Columbus, OH and New Orleans, LA. Embroidered initial patches on inside "MDC" can easily be removed, or left as-is for a gentle reminder that this piece has a history.

We do not clean vintage items and leave that to the discretion of the buyer. All vintage items will show signs of wear consistent with age, as should be expected.
We consider "vintage" to be 25+ years old (from late 1990's or before), and "antique" to be 100+ years old (from mid 1920's or before).
