DECOMIX universal tinting concentrate

Universal pigment concentrate in 28 shades for water- and solvent-based color systems

Scope of application:
DECOMIX universal tinting concentrates are ideal for tinting commercially available, water-based emulsion, binder and latex paints,
Synthetic resin plasters, acrylic paints, alkyd resin paints, nitro paints and similar color systems.

They are also suitable for tinting glazes, stains, stains, wood waxes and cement paints.

The shades marked “L” on the color chart (No. 6, 7, 10, 18) can only be used indoors, those marked “LW” can be used both indoors and outdoors.
Only the oxide colors (No. 3, 4, 5, 14, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 29, 30, 31, 32) applicable.

Technical data:
Raw material basis: Inorg. and org. Pigments dispersed in water and propylene glycol
Density: 1.30 - 1.80 g/ccm (depending on color)
pH value: approx. 7.0

Processing:
Shake bottle well before use. Add DECOMIX Universal Tinting Concentrate to the color to be tinted and mix well until completely homogeneous.
We recommend using a mixer to tint paint.

The basic rule is: carry out preliminary tests and definitely carry out a friction test! First tint – then dilute!

The following maximum addition quantities must be observed for the different color systems.

Emulsion paints max. 10%
Acrylic varnishes max. 6%
Alkyd resin paints max. 8th %
Synthetic resin plasters max. 10%
Glazes max. 5%

All DECOMIX universal tinting concentrates can be mixed with each other.

Clean tools with water immediately after use.

Storage:
Store the container tightly closed in a cool, but frost-free place.
When unopened and stored properly, the shelf life is at least until: see batch label.

Disposal:
Waste code no. 080112 (waste paint and varnish other than those mentioned in 080111).
Only empty containers for recycling. Material residues can be dried according to waste code no. 170904 (mixed construction and demolition waste) or disposed of with household waste.
