I have up for auction a record (78) on the black and gold patent VICTOR RECORD label from the early 1900s, circa 1910. It is #16979 by Billy Murray and American Quartet with orchestra and selections are "Honey Man" and "Oh You Beautiful Doll". The record is in very good condition on Honey Man side, very little wear and scuffs and scratches are light and mainly surface variety, none deep. But the scratches across surface of Beautiful Doll side are below surface and cause more noticeably ticks during most of that side; so downgrade to VG-; plays through loud and clear but the ticks are distracting...
