Large Heavy Antique Silver English Pocket Watch. 1901.

The large heavy sterling silver case is hallmarked at Birmingham for 1901 with the makers mark of W.E  The mark for William Ehrhardt. ( English watch and case maker ).  It is in good condition with a heavy even pocket wear.  The hinges are good with the lids opening and closing correctly.   The bezel has a bevel edged mineral crystal in a good condition. The case is clean and not highly polished.

The movement is in a good clean condition.  It winds smoothly and is running well. It is an unsigned William Ehrhardt movement with the serial 512236 matching the case number.   The watch is key wind at the back and key set at the front on the main spindle square. The key is with it.

The ivory white enamel dial is in nice condition, bold Roman numerals and no sign of major damage, there are a couple of very faint lines.  The hands are heavy whip and spade gold gilt.  It is signed for the retailer : B. Goodman of Wolverhampton.
