Parker introduced mandarin yellow pens in April 1927. All sizes had yellow threads which quickly became stained from ink. Parker suggested users clean them with tooth paste...a suggestion that was poorly received. Parker changed the barrel threads to black two months later. Mandarin Yellow colored Duofolds are shown and discussed on pages 71-73 of Shepherd and Zazoves book, Parker Duofold. This pen is a ladies size with clip. No clip wear. Faint reddish spot on back of cap. Dark, black shiny ends, deep barrel imprint. Pen's filling system has been disassembled, ultrasonically cleaned and a new sac installed. 14K Parker Pen nib is fine. The barrel threads have a few hairline cracks. Please see ALL photos.
