This is "Kaettekita Mario Bros.," a rewrite-only software released for the Family Computer Disk System on November 30, 1988. It was exclusively sold for rewriting using disk writers installed in toy stores, and since there was no retail version, I have created the outer box, jacket label, and booklet-type instructions myself.

The instructions are made in color and booklet format, referencing the instructions of Nintendo's disk version software sold in the same era for rewriting. The jacket label is a long type with a fold-back for blue disks, and the artwork surface is full-sized. The outer box is a used genuine product with a fictitious barcode seal created by me, showing minor scratches and aging but no damage or tears.

It has been tested on the final model Twin Famicom and the mid-term model of the NEW Famicom + Disk System, confirmed to operate, and thoroughly played through multiple times until returning to the title screen. However, please note that while it will surely be read by Disk System or Twin Famicom with the appropriate drive belt replacement and accurate head position adjustment and rotation adjustment, there are many units in circulation that may not meet these conditions, so I cannot guarantee operation on all disk drives.

Especially on drives where the drive belt has been replaced with a Mobilon band and more than six months have passed since the replacement, there is a significantly higher chance of errors occurring.

This is not just a simple disk version of the cartridge version Mario Bros. The cartridge version had only 24KB of ROM capacity, whereas the 2.8-inch quick disk of the Disk System (which is different from a floppy disk) had about 128KB per side. All characters, which had been reduced in size in the cartridge version, are nearly the same size as the arcade version, and the "icicle," which had been removed, is revived. Mario's handling has also been changed; it is now possible to change direction during a jump, and the slip feeling when changing direction while running is also different.
