This is an early 50's doll.
She was made to compete with Ginny and Ginger.

New message from: collector

this is a big eye ginger type doll. the painted feet tell you it was not sold by cosmopolitan. "ginger" was not patented, so the factory sold these dolls to many companies. the painted feet are supposed to pass for shoes, a cost cutting measure. because of the feet, she was probably sold as "carol sue, the little mother's darling" hope this helps!

She is not marked  She has toes. See the last photo.

She excels in rosy cheeks,  and a lovely face.
The wig is not glued on and the bangs are separate.

She loves to pose.
She comes with 2 dresses panties and shoes.
The red coloring is from a prior dress. See pictures.

Shoes are vintage White and not marked.  She does have toes.
