ON HER THRONE, is a 9X12 Original Oil Painting of a Cougar on her special rock watching the valley below from the high ground. It is painted on an acid free canvas panel which is one of my favorite supports for its durability and ease of framing. 

     I am a self-taught artist and I have painted for 30 years.  I have always loved animals and have lived closely with them in rural Montana, so they are my favorite subject in my paintings. My style of painting is Impressionism. I try to push color as much as I can. I use thick strokes of paint to give the painting a rich texture. All of my paintings are similar in style and subject so they look good together in small groups but strong enough on their own to offer an accent to any area. 

     My paintings would make wonderful gift for the animal lover in your life. Original art is truly an original gift.
