Now a look at the German publisher of the here offered Variant Batman Beyond #1:

The Dino Entertainment AG published DC Comics for German/European (resp. German language areas) newsstands from 1995 to 2000 with a four-years great success. Today the Dino DC books are sought after by the Euro Variant collectors, 'cause very
often Dino gave in their German DC books great extra reference, editorial pages, not just about the US-market, even more about the German DC predecessor licensees resp. former/vintage German DC books (1950-1994). This is quite interesting, 'cause Dino published DC comic books mainly for newsstands and not just TPBs for specialized book shops!

After sales went worser in 1999-2000 - it were simply too many DC comic book titles for the German market, the buyers were not willing to buy each and every new title/series any more - in 2000 the Dino Entertainment AG canceled the publication of DC Comics for the German market. European publisher Panini (based in Italy) took over in 2001 as new DC licensee for Germany up today.

German DC Comics published by Dino Entertainment AG are well remembered by German readers and collectors today because of the
many detailed worked out background infos which were a regular component of many Dino-DC-comic-books!

A++
...it's great fun to compare the German book with the appropriate US-book...do not miss it!
