2019 Mint Set Gives Special Treatment to the Lincoln Cent’s 110th Anniversary

2019 Marks the 110th anniversary of the Lincoln Penny. First issued to mark the centennial anniversary of President Abraham Lincoln’s birth it was an instant success. The Lincoln Penny is now the longest-running design in United States Mint history! To pay tribute to the popular little coin, the United States Mint is releasing its 2019 Mint Set Sets with an additional “bonus” coin: the first-ever Lincoln Cent struck at the West Point Mint!

  • The 2019-W Lincoln Cents available in this offer will come graded by the Numismatic Guaranty Corporation (NGC) as being in near-perfect Mint State-69 (MS69) condition, a distinction that means your almost-flawless coin will showcase an impressive full strike and indistinguishable imperfections – well above and beyond the quality of the vast majority of coins in the series. In addition, NGC has graded these pennies to be First Releases (FR) coins, meaning they were received by NGC or an NGC-approved depository within the first 30 days of their release. The coin will be packaged separately and comes sonically sealed in an acrylic capsule with an exclusive Lincoln label.

The 2019 U.S. Mint Uncirculated Coin Set consists of two folders of 10 coins each – one from the U.S. Mint at Philadelphia and the other from the U.S. Mint at Denver. Each folder contains the U.S. Mint’s 2019-dated coins, including the Native American $1 Coin featuring a new one-year-only reverse design that pays tribute to American Indians in the Space Program, and all five coins from this year’s America the Beautiful Quarters program.

Besides the unique dollars and quarters, the sets include the Kennedy Half Dollar, Roosevelt Dime, Jefferson Nickel, and Lincoln Penny. The coins in these sets are uncirculated pieces pulled from regular production runs, thus the quality of the individual coins varies widely from set to set and even within a set. Both sets come in original packaging consisting of two blister-style folders. The blue folder contains coins from the Philadelphia Mint, the red folder contains coins from the Denver Mint.

  • INCLUDES 2019-W PREMIUM PENNY – Released to celebrate the 110th anniversary of the Lincoln Penny, this coin represents the first time that the West Point Mint has ever struck a 1-cent coin. It will be packaged separately and will come graded by the Numismatic Guaranty Corporation (NGC) in near-perfect Mint State-69 (MS69) First Releases (FR) condition and encapsulated in an acrylic holder with an exclusive Lincoln label.
  • LEGAL TENDER COINS – Each coin in your 2019 United States Uncirculated Mint Set is official legal tender in the United States, $1, 50 cents, 25 cents, 10 cents, 5 cents and 1 cent.
  • INCLUDES ALL FIVE AMERICA THE BEAUTIFUL QUARTERS – This collection includes every one-year-only design in 2018’s America the beautiful program from Massachusetts, Northern Mariana Islands, Guam, Texas and Idaho
  • ONE-YEAR-ONLY NATIVE AMERICAN $1 COIN DESIGN – The one-year-only reverse design on 2019 Native American $1 Coin is dedicated to American Indians in the Space Program and features Mary Golda Ross, the first Native American engineer in the U.S. space program. Ross helped develop the Agena spacecraft for the Gemini and Apollo space programs.
