WW1 14 Star Trio + Death plaque- Cpl -Gordon Highlanders
Medals issued to 1039 Corporal William REID 1st/6th battalion Gordon Highlanders.
William was born in Ellon in Aberdeenshire, the son of Mr William Reid a railway Carter. Prior to enlisting he had worked as a draper. He was killed in action on 19th February 1915 and is remembered in the Rue-Petillon Military Cemetery, Fleurbaix.
Medals come with some photographs, newspaper cuttings etc.
The medals and plaque are in super used condition.
