February 24, Ukrposhta put into circulation a postage stamp "PTN PNH!"
dedicated to the anniversary of the beginning of Russia's full-scale war
against Ukraine. 2022 was a year of anxious nights and painful losses
for our country, a year of fierce struggle and courage. Against all
odds, these 365 days of war have reawakened in each of us a new level of
love and respect for the Motherland, the people, awareness of our
self-identity and indomitability, rage against the enemy and, most
importantly, faith in Victory.
The postal issue features one of
seven graffiti by the world-famous street artist and political activist
Banksy that he created anonymously in Ukraine in 2022. The artist
painted a graffiti of a little boy knocking out a grown man. This is an
allegorical image, the struggle between Ukraine and Russia. Our small
country, compared to Russia, has courageously and bravely entered into
an unequal battle with the enemy and, despite all the difficulties, is
fighting for its victory.
