CAPODIMONTE - Fine quality Italian provincial hand painted gilt ceramic cabinet cup and saucer - featuring alternating swirling bands of figures in relief and floral decoration with pierced decoration to the saucer - extensive gilded outlines and borders to each piece with an elaborate hand painted 'cracked ice' gilded pattern to the interior of the cup and the center of the saucer - unsigned - model 4810 to the saucer base - 'Italy' to the base of each piece - mid 20th century.

Look closely: this Italian art has an erotic undertone. Beautiful and Unique.

Excellent vintage condition - minor rubbing to the gilding - no loss - no damage - no restoration - minor signs of age and use.
