feature:
1.AD8495 K-type thermocouple amplifier. These amplifiers convert the small voltage produced by the thermocouple junction into a signal that can be easily read by an analog-to-digital converter (ADC) or microcontroller. The gain from the thermocouple to the amplifier output is approximately 5 mV/°C.
2. The AD8495 uses an on-chip temperature sensor to perform cold junction compensation. Thermocouples provide accurate measurements over a wide range of ambient temperatures.
3.AD8495 has a built-in high-precision instrumentation amplifier. The amplifier has high common-mode rejection, which rejects common-mode noise that may be picked up by long-wire thermocouples. For added protection, the amplifier's high-impedance input allows for easy additional filtering.
4.AD8495 supports a wide supply voltage range. The AD849x operates from a single 5V power supply and can cover a thermocouple temperature range of nearly 1000 degrees. It can be connected directly to a low supply voltage ADC via a 3V supply. It can also operate from supplies up to ±18V to support industrial systems requiring a wide common-mode input range.
5. The AD8495 can easily measure negative temperatures regardless of which supply rail is used. The 0°C output can be adjusted by the voltage on the reference pin, allowing the flexibility to adjust the output range of the AD849x to suit the ADC.
6. Stable input design can handle various actual connection conditions. The CJMCU-8495 can withstand input voltages well above the power rails. For example, use ±5V power supply, even if the voltage at the input terminal is ±35 V, it can ensure that the device will not be damaged. Small and large input bias current characteristics aid in open thermocouple fault detection.
