RARE BLUE BUTTERFLY: WIRE EMBROIDERY: WW1 EMBROIDERED SILK POSTCARD

You are bidding on this rare First World War embroidered silk postcard. The card features a Blue Butterfly, although as set at night time could also be a moth. surrounded by starts night sky.  With the embroidered words which reads ‘Good Night Deary’. The embroidery I think is wire embroidery certainly looks and feels very different from stranded embroidered cards. Which also has a twinkling effect under light. There is a brief personal message on the reverse of the card.

The condition of the card. Some age related wear to the corners and edges. I think this card is stunning. The embroidery to my mind is stunning,  looks nice and bright. There are some larger embroidered hole on the which I think is a result of using wire embroidery. Please do look to the photos.
