Mary Meyer has been making toys that are safe and fun for more than 75 years and has received numerous awards, including multiple Oppenheim and Toy of the Year awards. As a young woman, Mary and her husband put their talents together to design, manufacture, and sell tomato and animal pin cushions, along with dolls. After several years, they added stuffed toys. In the early 1940's, they moved the company to the beautiful Green Mountains of Vermont, where their sons became involved and eventually took over the company. Mary was active in the management of her business until 1982, retiring at the age of 78. After her retirement, she continued to be involved, spending time in the company factory store and visiting with teddy bear collectors to sign their Mary Meyer collector bears. Mary Meyer died in 1999 at 94 years of age. Known as "Gram" to family, friends, townspeople, employees, and colleagues worldwide, Mary brought a sense of gentleness and graciousness to the toy industry.

POSTAGE:

I charge £5.75 postage for up to 2kg on Royal Mail post.

Ebay take 12.8% and 30p on postage. (They also take this on the item but I cover that).

So out of the £5.75 you pay on postage ebay take £1.04 and leave me with £4.71. Actual Postage is £4.69 so that leaves me with 2p towards packaging/ tape etc which doesn’t really cover it. So I am definitely NOT making on postage. If you would like an item posted I feel you need to cover the costs associated with that. If you are local you are welcome to collect in person to avoid all postal costs.
