You are bidding on a Giant Sized, 13&1/2 Inch Tall, Drug Store Cough Drop or Lozenge Bottle or Jar..   This Bottle or Jar was hand blown in a mold in or around the year 1880..   This Early 1880 Period Jar is Exceptional and Better than others I see on Ebay in that:  1. It is LARGER than the rest and measures 13&5/8 Inches tall with the original lid on and it is a full 5 Inches in diameter..  It weighs a heavy 5 Pounds..  2. It is in 100% MINT Condition with no defects whatsoever..  Note: There is a large interior bubble in the front, but this is an "In the Making" bubble and is not considered a defect..  3.  It retains its original glass lid and this is very scarce..  4.  It is a beautiful shade of DEEP BLUE AQUA  and it is darker than most..  Embossed in the front in large 1/2 Inch letters is the following: "Robert Gibson - Manchester - England - E. C. Rich - New York - Agent"..  This is a wonderful Store antique that my wife used as a vase for dry flowers..   To make it short: This Jar is far better and larger than others on ebay..  Have questions?  I'd love to answer them, so, ask away..
