1934 Motor Annual

*This is the highly collectible Hardbound edition of the January 1934 Motor magazine Annual Show Issue. 10 X 13 1/2" with a whopping 294 pages, this monster weighs nearly 4 lbs! Over 1,000 photos and illustrations. Fabulous art deco cover art. This is the ONLY Show Issue that highlights the new 1934 cars.

Packed with great articles, pics and advertisements, the show issue was the premier issue for each year, as it showcased the newly released models from each manufacturer.

Special section covers very very detailed specs on ALL 1934 Domestic Models of Cars and Trucks complete with prices. This section runs over 25 pages, and includes over 80 specifications for each car, including engine and performance data, wheelbase, tread, length, frame, pistons, wrist pins, rods, style and comfort features, crankshaft and bearings, camshafts, valves, lubrication info, fuel and cooling system, ignition, starting system, generator, battery, lights, horn, clutch, transmission, universals, real axle, tires, springs, steering, front axle, brakes, standard equipment, finish, bearings-clutch, transmission, water pump bearings, wheels, and more!. This is a gold mine of information!

There's more.: The advertiser's index in the back of this piece lists over 100 auto and auto supply manufacturers whose advertisements are included in this piece. Virtually every car manufacturer advertised in the Motor Show issues, most with photos.

This is really a neat piece. It's combination Auto Year Book, time capsule, photo album, shop manual, and reference library, all rolled into one! The hardbound editions rarely show up for sale.  VG condition, light wear to boards, shown; interior cover and pages are Xlnt and appear unused.  Stamp on cover indicates "Campbell-Ewald Library 1934." Campbell-Ewald was GM's marketing firm during this era.
