C.G. Conn 28M Professional Alto Saxophone SN 334281 HISTORIC COLLECTION

Here's a Conn 28M Connstellation Alto saxophone. The last great alto made by Conn in the 1950s, these horns are great players and feature a classy plastic keyguard. Keyguard on this one is cracked so this is not a candidate for a collectors horn, but should be a great player after a repad.

Provenance: The Historic Collection. This is from the collection of a well-known researcher and historian of woodwinds who spent a lifetime collecting rare and unique instruments. We are privileged to offer items from this collection for sale.

As this instrument is historically interesting, we have chosen to not initiate any restoration work, leaving that to the eventual owner. We expect that this instrument will need pad and keywork to be playable.
