This 1940s aluminum powder puff music box is a rare find with its Greco-Roman neoclassical lacquer image adorning the lid. The piece would have held a powder puff inside (not included) and has a mirror on the underside of the lid. The music box is not working and is wound to its tightest. One leg has a broken and missing tip, so the music box does not stand even. Despite these things, the box is rare enough and beautiful that a restoration project is worth the time and effort. Or display this piece as is for its lovely charm and beauty.
