The TXB115 2S PCI Express Card turns a PCI Express slot into two RS232 (DB9) serial ports. 

And it also enables compatible devices to draw power from the serial ports. 

Suitable for many RS232 powered serial applications, this PCIe card offers a selectable 5V or 12V power option, capable of power output using pin 9,which enables you to configure the card to suit the requirements of your powered RS232 devices. 

The extra power necessary is supplied to the PCI Express card directly from the PC power supply unit through a floppy disk power connector.

The adapter card features a native PCI Express single chip design that allows you to take advantage of full PCI Express capability, providing improved speed and reliability while reducing the load applied to the CPU by as much as 48% over conventional serial cards which use a bridge chip design
