BIRKENSTOCK Madrid Big Buckle Green Slip On Shoes Sandals Euro Size 39. They say L8 M6. They seem bigger than a Ladies size 8 to me? Here are the measurements of the soles: toe to heel, a tad over 10 1/4" long. At the widest part of the soles: approx. 3 5/8". I just listed another pair of women's shoes that are marked size 10, and sole to sole with the Birkenstocks they appear to be just about the same size. So please do check the measurements against your own shoes.
These shoes have not been worn outside, but I have put them under "pre-owned" because the previous owner put some moleskin (adhesive-backed soft cushioning material) to make these more comfortable. I tried pulling at the edge of one piece of the material but removing it will leave a sticky residue. I don't know if Goof-Off or some other product would take care of that, but the fact that the underside is sort of raw, textured leather I feel that using a solvent is going to be difficult and messy. So....do you think you can live with the modifications?
Please be familiar with the brand and sizing and be willing to re-list them if they don't suit you, because I don't take returns on shoes or clothes. It's just that the shipping costs have gotten so high it's impossible to justify listing shoes and clothes if they get returned - I end up losing money. Thank you very much for your understanding.
