GRAHAM A. THOMAS is a historian, and an information officer for Defence Equipment and Support Information Systems Services providing stories about the armed forces and the MoD for a wide variety of in-house MoD publications, the press and the web. Formerly he was chief reporter for the Ministry of Defence's magazine Focus. He is a military historian specializing in aerial warfare and British naval and maritime history in the eighteenth century.
