Lancashire & Yorkshire Railway Cordial Glass Acid Etched Early 20th Century

The Lancashire and Yorkshire Railway (L&YR) was a major British railway company before 1923 . It was the third-largest railway system based in northern England (after the Midland and North Eastern Railways.

The glass is probably from the dining car or station cafe.

The glass is in excellent condition with no chips cracks or fleabites, has a small scratch on the rear (see last photo).

Hand blown with concave polished pontil.

Acid etched company logo/coat of arms.
