Good condition. Small red hardcover published by Charles Scribner's & Sons (1908). Singed inside by Slocum from Vineyard Haven, MA in July of 1908. On November 14, 1909, Slocum set sail in the Spray from Vineyard Haven, MA, for the West Indies on one of his usual winter voyages. Slocum was never heard from again. Slocum was was the first person to sail single-handedly around the world.
