Leblanc Semi-Rationale Alto Saxophone in Satin Silver SN 26 HISTORIC COLLECTION

Here is an important early saxophone by Leblanc. The Semi-Rationale model had innovative keywork and a sweet sound that is unique to the Leblanc instruments. This instrument is in excellent condition but will need a repad to be playable.

Provenance: The Historic Collection. This is from the collection of a well-known researcher and historian of woodwinds who spent a lifetime collecting rare and unique instruments. We are privileged to offer items from this collection for sale.

As this instrument is historically interesting, we have chosen to not do restoration work on it and leave that to the eventual owner.
