This sale is for a LIMITED EDITION hardback entitled “Bibliotheca Dorsetiensis,” subtitled “A Carefully Compiled Account of Printed Books and Pamphlets Relating to the History and Topography of the County of Dorset,” by Charles Herbert Mayo, M.A., of Lincoln College, Oxford; Vicar of Long Burton with Holnest, Dorset, and Rural Dean of Shaftesbury, Second Portion.

 

It was published by Christopher William, of Dorset and Piccadilly Rare Books in 1996 and is a LIMITED EDITION of 100 copies of the original book privately printed at the Chiswick Press, of London, in 1885.

 

The book measures 8.5 inches x 6 inches and has 296 pages. 

 

The book is in good, neat and clean condition for its age. There are NO inscriptions/book-plates and NO other ink or pencil markings in the book. The binding is good with no loose or missing pages.  There is no dust-jacket.
