1898 Antique Victorian Celluloid Photo Album 19 Photographs w Names Farm Family

Antique Victorian celluloid photo album, written inside as presented to a family member for Christmas of 1898. There are 48 slots for pictures within, and cabinet card photographs with names noted in 19 of the slots. Families and/or individuals are identified and labeled beneath their photographs. It looks as though many or all of the empty slots are all noted too and may have previously had pictures in them but don't anymore. One of the pictures depicts an old Midwest farm family in Kansas. There is at least one picture in here that depicts the owner of the album. The front has the word "Album", in ornate Victorian font. Measures approximately 16 inches long, 7 inches wide, and 2 inches thick.

There is typical wear associated with age and use. On the front of the album there is a crack about 2 inches long, and a few mostly pretty small areas where the design has peeled off. Color wear on the spine and the fabric of the spine is sort of torn on the bottom corner. Small crack on the back, and the metal piece that would have been attached to the back side is missing. Some expected discoloration and minor staining as well as scratches. Please see all available pictures for most accurate visual representation.

Rest assured your photo album will be well protected for shipping.
