This is a mint 1947 stamp out of post WWII  Germany featuring Heinrich Von Stephan, who died on April 8th, 1897.

Von Stephan had been the top German General Post Director who revamped and reorganized the entire German postal service. This stamp pays tribute to him and his loyal service.

This crisp, 24 pfennig stamp is in mint condition without any deficiencies from what I can see.  I obtained this stamp in Germany circa 1971. The glue backing is original without any blemishes.

Please check out the attached photos. The stamp pictured is the EXACT stamp you will receive.

I strive for the same or next business day shipping when possible. Thank you, and God bless.
