A rich example of this prized gem species from the type locale in California!!! This specimen hosts a very rich showing of blue crystals of benitoite in association with black neptunite on a characteristic matrix of crossite and natrolite!!! There are numerous significant areas of crystalline benitoite scattered about, with crystals ranging in size up to 1.3cm!!! The crystals also show intense blue fluorescence under SW UV!!! There are numerous lustrous, darkly colored crystals of neptunite in association as well!!! Classic material!!! Ex. Dru Wilbur collection!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
