Here we have an excellent opportunity to acquire the rare GP Casquette
9931, housed in gold plated steel and powered by a quartz movement with
an LED display.
The case size of this piece is approx 40x32mm and the case condition is
good for the age. There are some small scratches and knocks that are
clear under close inspection but nothing that would be hugely noticeable
whilst on the wrist. The gold plating is solid throughout both the case
and bracelet.
The bracelet as is will accommodate a wrist up to about 6.75 inches, any larger would requiring sourcing of additional links.
The watch is powered by a quartz movement which is functioning as it
should and keeping time. The display shows time of day, day of week and
date of the month. When pressing the full button (GP logo side of case)
the time of day will flash up, if you press twice it will show the day
of week and date. Due to the energy consumption the display only lights
up when the button is pressed and is not constant.
The time of day / date / weekday can be adjust by pushing the centre of the button on the opposite side.
