Item: For your consideration we are presenting for sale a vintage geometric / abstract color paper collage by St. Louis artist, Henriette Barken.  This appears to have been a color and/or shape study that the artist did while enrolled in art school.  There is a paper label attached to the back side of the paper which indicates what the particular project / assignment was at the time. There is a letter "A" written on the back, which leads us to believe this was her grade for the assignment.  It is currently unframed, but will look fantastic if one were to frame it with some matting bordering the piece.  Measurements:  Approx. 14" wide x 11" tall. Condition: Minor wear consistent with age.  No rips, holes, tears, repairs, etc.  There are a few small pin hole sized punctures towards the top center where a pin was probably placed for display, and some small light discoloration marks on the background paper (see photos). We also noticed that one of the dark gray outlining bands the surround the upper right light gray square is missing as there is faint superficial residue marks where it should be (see photos).  Can easily be fixed by matching the colors - we'll leave that up to the purchaser to handle.  Overall, displays nicely and is ready for a new home!  Being sold "as-is", "as-described".  If you have questions, please ask them prior to purchasing, and we will gladly respond back to you in a timely manner.  Thanks for looking, and please be sure to check out our other listings presently available for sale one eBay!
