For your consideration we are presenting a vintage modernist / indigenous folk art stencil titled "Three Canadian Geese" by artist, Simon Brascoupé.  Circa '80s.  The artist paints modern images from the hunter and gatherer perspective.  He uses traditional Native American stencil technique with bright primary pigments on canvas and paper.  His work is collected and exhibited internationally.  This piece is framed, matted and signed / dated in the lower right-hand corner (see photos).   There is a wire hanging mechanism attached to the back side of the frame, as well as some information about the artwork attached on the back as well.

Measurements: Including the frame, approx. 11.25" tall x 13" wide.  The visible artwork alone, not including the frame or the matting, measures approx. 5.25" tall x 7.25" wide.

Condition: Very good condition - no rips, holes, tears, stains, repairs, etc. The frame shows gentle signs of wear that are commensurate with age and handling, but nothing bad - displays very nicely!  Being sold "as-is" - if you have questions, we encourage you to ask them prior to purchase, and we will respond back to you in a timely manner.
