When a galactic warlord threatens a small peaceful planet, a young man sets out to assemble an eclectic collection of warriors to mount a defense. Features a great cast of classic Hollywood veterans and up and coming stars of the 80s and 90s including GEORGE PEPPARD, JOHN SAXON, DARLANE FLUEGEL, HENRY THOMAS, JULIA DUFFY, ROBERT VAUGHN, KATHY GRIFFIN and the QUEEN OF B FLICKS, SYBIL DANNING. In excellent condition. Tested and plays perfectly.

FORBIDDEN WORLD: This set includes TWO VERSIONS of the film with very noticeable differences. The theatrical cut with a more serious tone and the director’s cut which features more dark humor and even a different voice for the robot sidekick. It’s easily the most erotically charged of the three films in this set, this memorable “Alien clone / ripoff” is as heavy on the sensual steam bath scenes with two gorgeous women, later joined by the film’s rugged hero, as it is with the gory monster attacks. Atmospherically filmed featuring some striking and often disturbing visuals. A superior exploitation film that does everything to entertaining excess. When a federal marshal is called to investigate a scientific outpost on a remote planet he must contend with a genetic experiment that had gotten loose and is killing off the dwindling numbers of staff and scientists! The theatrical cut and special features are presented on the blu ray and the director ‘s cut is on a separate dvd. The dvd has some very light wear, but both have been tested and they play perfectly.

PIRANHA: Spielberg was such a fan of this “JAWS ripoff” that he kept Universal Studios from blocking it’s premiere for its similarities to their killer shark film, and he became a frequent collaborator with the director JOE DANTE. Dante went on to direct a number of 80s and 90s classics including INNERSPACE, GREMLINS 1 and 2 and THE ‘BURBS. Scary, funny and even surprisingly moving, PIRANHA starts off with an amorous couple in a secluded body of water falling victim to a school of mutant weaponized piranha and it doesn’t let up from there! The fish are loose and traveling downstream eating everything in its path, and they’re closing in on a resort and a kids’ summer camp! An insurance investigator and her cynical guide race to stop the feeding frenzy! This item is in great condition with the disc itself flawless. Tested and plays perfectly.
