This medal is a mystery to me. I am unsure what type of gold plate this is. It does not scratch easily. But around the hoop, where a chain can be attached, the gold plating is rubbed off and the base metal test as a low grade-.500 or below silver. When silver testing solution JSP #gt41 is used on a black testing stone, a nice green color appears. This is a sign of low grade silver.

There are blemish on this medal, hard to see unless you are close up, or use a magnifying glass like me. But you can see them in the photos. So I priced this piece accordingly. Quarter not included.
