Product Description

A once-in-a-lifetime collection never to be repeated! As seen on The Speed Channel. This classic car collection not only has it all, it has got the best of it all! More than 125 cars featured in ten non-stop hours on 5 DVDs. Mopar, Ford, GM, foreign, and lest we forget, a bunch of lovely Orphans to boot. And, thats just the privately owned cars... Dennis also visits museums and collections across the country, and around the world. Join Dennis as he meets the owners, talks shop, and gets the stories, peeks under the hood, and takes these beauties for a spin! Special collectors edition… 126 restored and customized drop-dead beautiful cars in a memory-filled collectible slipcase! DVD 1: 25 Fantastic Fords - Check out an old school Model-A fire truck and Merc Woodies from the 40s. Ride in style in a couple of Lincolns from the 60s. Or, flex some iconic muscle in a Mustang, Gran Torino, or Shelby Cobra. DVD 2: 29 Mighty Mopars - These are not just cars, they are time machines on four wheels. Leave 21st technology at the curb and go back to when there was no replacement for cubic displacement. Strap in, and come along for the ride with plenty of classic Mopar muscle under the hood. DVD 3: 24 GM Beauties - Here is all the style and slick muscle that GM could build on four wheels going all the way back to a 36 Chevy Custom, and roaring on through to 1970 in a GTO Judge by a Maco Shark! DVD 4: 24 Flashy Foreigns - In the fast lane, we have the Ferrari, Lamborghini, Maserati, and Lotus. Moving at a much more refined and stately pace, Rolls-Royce and Jaguar are very well portrayed indeed. While at the other end of the economic spectrum, the working class is solidly represented by some very interesting models from Messerschmidt of Germany, and Syrena of Poland. DVD 5: 24 Outrageous Orphans - The manufacturer of these great old cars may be gone, but they are clearly not forgotten. Need proof? How about three Hudsons, two Packards, and no less than five Studebakers! Well even throw in a Paxton, a Berkley, a pair of DuPonts, and a couple of Kaisers.

About the Actor

Dennis Gage - Dennis grew up on a small family farm in northwestern Illinois. He started tinkering with cars early on, and the first car he purchased was a T-Bird. He continued his automotive interest and, through the course of his college years, owned a number of muscle/sports cars. Dennis accepted a position as a product development scientist at The Procter Gamble Company in Cincinnati, Ohio. Having some disposable income, Dennis got back to playing with classic cars. This is also where he and Ellen had their 3 children. After years at P&G, Dennis took a position as Director of Product Development at a Bristol-Myers Squibb company in Evansville, Indiana. There he met the founder of the fledgling Bradley David Productions, Inc., and he became co-owner of the company shortly thereafter. A My Classic Car pilot series, hosted by Dennis, was developed for TNN and received strong ratings when it aired on TNN in early. Based on this success, the show premiered as a weekly series on TNN in January. The show then moved to SPEED channel where it reaches over a million households. My Classic Car is now one of the highest rated programs on the network. In addition, Dennis is the Executive Producer of the motorcycle television programs, Corbins Ride On and Trippin on Two Wheels, and the reality series, Texas Hardtails, as well as the independent film, November. Dennis also serves on the Board of Directors of the Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA), as well as a number of academic and industry advisory boards. Dennis eventually became sole owner of the production company and renamed it MadStache, Inc. and with his own lifelong love of cars and motorcycles, he states- This has got to be the ultimate job!
