Handley spent twenty-two years in India, soldiering and enjoying considerable sport. In Gondia, near the Halon River, he hunted tiger, sambur, and wild boar. While traveling through Burma, he bagged seladang in the Tenasserim jungles. In the Ranga hills of Mysore, he hunted buffalo, cheetal and tiger. His wife, Constance R.
