A retro 14k gold filled case Retro  NOS 14k Brushed  Gold Girard Perregaux 17 Jewel  Gents Wrist Watch from 1974 in unused new old stock (NOS) condition. 

The watch has just been overhauled and cleaned and comes with a 24 months mechanical warranty.


THE DIAL: 100% mint, the satin silver dial with gold baton markers and signed "Girard Perregaux". Dial with  dauphine hands. Diameter is 24 mm round. The new crystal is also in excellent condition. 

THE MOVEMENT: 100% mint, with silver plates. The watch with a compensated regulator and two arm bimetallic balance, with over-coiled hairspring. The movement with 17 jewels. The movement with a gilt metal crown winding button. The watch is a fabulous example of high grade engineering, fully signed Girard Perregaux and number 263,867

THE CASE: 99% mint, the 14k gold filled, brushed effect case measures 30 mm outside diameter and 39 mm to ends of the  lugs. The two piece case is in very nice condition, even the winding crown shows no wear.  The stainless steel rear cover fits nice and tightly

THE BRACELET: 100% mint, the watch comes with a new leather watch band.

Overall, this is a very fine and highly desirable  gold filled retro 1970's wrist watch. The watch keeps excellent time and is very useable for every-day wear or for best wear on holidays and birthdays.
