I will program it for free based on your car's configuration as long as you have sync 3 installed from the factory (6.5 inch or 8 inch screens). No dealer trip needed. Completely plug and play.  Some cars made in 2019 and all 2020 cannot use these APIMs else there is loss of functionality. This APIM will update most factory 2016-2019 Ford or Lincoln equipped with Sync 3.

This will not give you sync 3 if you are on sync 2. You will have to buy a screen and other sync 3 components for a whole setup if you are converting to sync 3. Message me if you need guidance.

The only thing included in this listing is the Sync 3 Navigation APIM. Nothing else is included. Pictures are for reference. APIM may have a different part number or look slightly different.

2016 model year Fords and Lincolns had an older usb hub from factory which only allows android auto and does not support 3.4 version. If you have a 2016, You will have to either update your hub or I will install software version 3.3 so you don't get a hub not supported error.
