This vintage and rare newspaper style magazine from 1923 features a fascinating article on the CAP Gallia v Glasgow Rangers match which Rangers won 6-1. The double page article goes on to say that Rangers could have won 20-0 and the French team would have had no complaints!

Interestingly the article also compares Rangers with Liverpool who also played a friendly in France at the same time and the author has no doubt who impressed him more!

A slightly larger than A4 magazine also has 9 black and white pics of the 2 friendlies which the UK based teams competed.

The piece offers a glimpse into the world of football in the post WW1 era. The magazine is a great addition to any Rangers or Liverpool supporter.
