1973 H2A Candy Gold gas tank. This is a good solid tank that is still wearing it’s original paint and graphics, so you know there are no repairs hidden underneath a bad repaint. What you see is what you get. There are a few small dings, which can be seen in the close up images. As you can see, there are chips, scratches and fading. The inside is very clean. It was difficult to get good pictures of the inside. It’s is not rusty or in need of sealing. There’s what looks like a little flash rust at the very bottom. It’s over 50 years old and an excellent tank. 

All four years of the H2 had tanks that were unique to the specific year. This 1973 H2A tank and is the only year that used a locking gas cap. It will also fit on a 1972 H2 or a 1974 H2B, but it is not correct. The fuel cap and petcock are not included. This listing is for the tank shown in the pictures and nothing else.
