Antique Japanese Hirado (Mikawachi) Blue and White Porcelain Koro & Cover 19th C

You are bidding for a Japanese Hirado (Mikawachi) blue and white porcelain koro and cover. A domed cover, two reticulated squat globular bodies, each flanked by a pair of moulded dragon handles, the stem moulded in relief with Chrysanthemums petals on an integral square base painted in underglaze blue with flowers border, on four scroll feet.
Dating to the 19th Century.
  • Condition: Cover is in excellent condition. Base has one foot repaired, bottom / second squat joint is repaired, a firing flaw to bottom petals, otherwise in good condition.
