***Custom Commander Deck*** Karumonix, the Rat King - Poisonous Rats - MTG EDH

Foil and alt arts are not guaranteed. We receive a limited amount. This listing is for a custom magic the gathering Commander deck. This is a complete ready-to-play 100-card EDH deck, and all of the cards are authentic English-version magic cards. Have you ever felt like commander was a little too friendly? Have you ever wanted to be a little more... toxic? Karumonix is the commander for you. Swarm the board with your invasive rats, many of which can't be blocked. Karumonix gives your whole team toxic, a powerful keyword that gives your opponents a poison counter when you deal combat damage. Ten poison and they die, no matter how much life they have! Just start spreading the plague and use powerful spells in order to finish your opponents off! What Makes Karumonix Special Karumonix's main ability is toxic 1 and grants all of your creatures toxic 1. Use your abundance of cheap creatures to attack through your opponents' blockers to get poison on them. This makes for an extremely threatening aggro strategy. Karumonix also helps you refill. You get to look at the top five and put any rats into your hand. This means that you can afford to be a little more aggressive with your creatures. On average, you should get about two rats from each trigger. Since Karu is likely to be a target from your opponents who want to stop the poison counter madness, you will likely have the chance to get more of the draw triggers. Gameplan First thing is first: toxic stacks. A Blightbelly Rat dealing damage with Karumonix out will give two poison counters. Infect works similarly. The creature deals combat damage, toxic triggers, then the damage is replaced with poison counters for infect. Keep this in mind for your calculations about how many poison counters your opponents will get when attacking. Some of your strongest ways to win the game are cards like Infectious Inquiry. The ability to give each opponent a poison counter without dealing damage is very powerful. An opponent might feel safe after board wiping you and having creatures of their own, even if they're at eight poison counters. Inquiry + Drown in Ichor instantly kills them! Hooray! Many of your cards have the keyword Corrupted. This makes the card more powerful for each opponent with three or more poison counters. Feed the Infection for example, does extra damage to everyone who has been sufficiently poisoned. Try to distribute counters early! Proliferate cards also help that plan. A Blightbelly Rat dying is totally fine if it gives each opponent a poison counter, but is very very sad if it can only give one or two (or god forbid, zero). You have a few cards like Village Rites. These can be used randomly to get cards off your weak rats, but an even stronger way to use them is while attacking. If you have two attackers and they have one blocker, you can simply attack with both, they block, you Rites your blocked creature that would have died anyway, and get a toxic trigger. Very profitable! Lastly, take care when you play Karu. Playing him with no creatures will just open him up to removal and increased commander tax. Ideally you will have a few attacks where you can get toxic counters before you play him. It also makes sense if you're running out of cards to play, as you will draw approximately two cards. I took several pictures that show all of the cards in the deck, so please look at those pictures so you can see what all of the cards do and how they interact with each other. Most if not all of these cards are in Near Mint or Mint condition.
