This pair of Renaissance Revival chairs is from France and date to the early 1900's. They are made from solid walnut and finished to a warm light color. Each chair as been hand carved and has excellent detail in the designs. The chairs have had a few repairs over the years but overall are fairly solid. Note that both chairs have woodworm holes throughout (see photos). Dimensions for each: 44.5" tall, 18.25" high to the seat, 25.5" wide and 18" deep.
